features a golden harp topped by white clouds and a yellow sunburst; a
field of light green shamrocks; and the Brigade motto "who never retreated
from the clash of spears" in the Old Irish (not Gaelic), "Riamh Nar Dhruid

Confederate Flag Poster
The best-known Confederate flag was this Battle Flag that Confederate
troops carried on the battlefield. Featuring the cross of St. Andrew and
thirteen stars, which represented the eleven states in the Confederacy
plus Kentucky and Missouri, it was commonly referred to as the "Southern
