The Surrender
Appomattox Court House, Virginia - April 9th 1865.
Keith Rocco. The meeting lasted approximately an hour and a half. When it
was over, the Army of Northern Virginia had surrendered, the Federal
Government was able to bring increased pressure to bear on other parts of
the south, and hostilities were within months of cessation. 24"x 18" poster
